Cadillac recently launched a new campaign for their all-new three-row crossover, the 2020 Cadillac XT6, with a spot that was directed by the Russo brothers and Bullitt.
The spot invites modern American crews to experience adventure by displacing any previous expectations of SUVs. The commercial is titled “Crew Ready” and uses Diplo’s song “Welcome to the Party” to show off an edgier look and feel for the luxury brand. It featured crews of rocker dads and a team of stuntwomen, along with some other crews to demonstrate how versatile the XT6 is.
Cadillac knew that working with the Russo brothers — directors of the highest-grossing film of all time — and Bullitt—a filmmaker’s collective and creative studio — was the perfect way to bring their vision of an adventurous SUV to life. Deborah Wahl, Cadillac’s chief marketing officer, said, “XT6 customers are always ready for an adventure,” so Cadillac made sure they made that spirit the focus of the ad.
