GMC continues to step up its game with the new Sierra 1500, coming this spring to Coleman Buick GMC in Lawrence Township, New Jersey. On top of the winning style, capability, and intelligence that have made the Sierra a popular choice for years, it adds new technologies and trims that put it even further ahead of the pack.

Here’s a taste of what you can expect from the new GMC Sierra 1500 when it arrives in our showroom in 2022.

First-ever Sierra Denali Ultimate trim

The new Sierra 1500 Denali Ultimate is the most advanced and luxurious Sierra yet. It sports a uniquely premium look inside and out as well as a full complement of features like CarbonPro™, Denali Premium Suspension with segment-exclusive Adaptive Ride Control, and best-in-class 16-way power front seats with massage function.[1]

First-ever Sierra AT4X trim

Building on the popular AT4 model, the Sierra 1500 AT4X finds the sweet spot between ruggedness and refinement. This truck offers unique Multimatic DSSV™ spool-valve dampers and class-exclusive front and rear e-locking differentials as well as a luxurious Obsidian Rush interior

Super Cruise™ hands-free

The Sierra Denali and Denali Ultimate offer the latest version of Super Cruise™, the world’s first truly hands-free driver-assistive technology. Enhanced capabilities include the ability to use the system while towing a trailer with your Sierra 1500. Plus, it has an automatic lane change function

More power and capability

The 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 offers a more powerful base engine in the form of a beefed-up 2.7-liter Turbo. GMC engineered the new Turbo to generate 20 percent more torque, increasing output to 420 lb-ft. With the 3.0-liter Duramax® Turbo Diesel, you’ll now enjoy best-in-class four-wheel-drive diesel towing up to 13,00 pounds.[2]
